Beyond the fabulousity and amazing outfits, how challenging is it to run a fashion business, especially one that has its roots in Nigeria?

Ify Igbobi: It has not been easy but with a lot of hard work and focus , the journey has been very less stressful and quite profitable.

How do you feel when you see people wear your designs?

Ify Agbobi: it gives me the outmost feeling of fulfillment because all I see is happiness filled in their faces, and my efforts paid off because I do this for my clients and I want them to feel happy, confident and beautiful when rocking my designs.

The fashion industry is known to be notoriously fickle and populated with shallow people. Knowing you personally, I know you’re not, but how do you maintain balance and stay true to yourself?

Ify Igbobi: One of my principles is that i've no need to compare myself to anyone, I always believe in my potentials and I stay completely true to myself, I trust my instincts and being myself always creates the best balance in my academics.

Do you do female clothing only or you do both male and female?

Ify Igbobi: For now, I only make female cloths, maybe in a few months to come weckx design_intl could offer much more for both genders.

Ify Igbobi: My no one fashion inspiration is through Balmain.

Were there moments when you felt like throwing in the towel and how did you come out of those periods?

Ify Igbobi: Nothing good in life comes easily.. There's always a tough time in life but you don't get a solution without knowing the problem, I tend to start from the root, it's the easiest way to find comfort in myself.

With celebs and stylistas introducing new trends, what’s your favorite style trend?

Ify Igbobi: Jumpsuits! For now that is my major style trend, it would surprise You how well a pair of a nice Ankara fabric can turn out well when u make a three quarter jumpsuit out of it.

Heels? or Flats?

Ify Igbobi: Heels! That's My favorite, always on heels and Snickers.

Favourite TV show?

Ify Igbobi: Awwh! My favorite Tv show... that should be Jara.

President Buhari has visited the Benin monarch, Oba Ewuare the second, at his palace, after arriving Benin City, the Edo state capital today, Nov. 7th, 2016, for a two-day working visit.
According to reports, this would mark the President’s first visit to the monarch’s palace since his coronation as the Oba of Benin kingdom on October 20, 2016. Oba Ewurare has however, upon the president’s arrival, appealed to him to create a sea port in the state...
From the palace, the president is expected to proceed to commission some key projects carried out by the state governor, Adams Oshiomhole. The projects include; the newly constructed central hospital, the siluko road as well as the gully erosion reclamation project, at the Queen Ede Agbor road, and the New Era Secondary School now renamed Samuel Ogbemudia Secondary School.
This development is reported to be coming shortly after the valedictory session held for the out-going Governor of Edo state, Adams Oshiomhole. It is the last time Mr Oshiomhole will be hosting President Buhari in that capacity as Governor of Edo state.

President buhari begins a 2day working visit to benin Edo state...

President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday arrived Benin airport to begin a two-day working visist to Edo.

Buhari, who arrived at about 10;43a.m aboard Air Force flight 5N-FGW, was received by Gov. Adams Oshiomhole.

He inspected a guard of honour mounted by military personnel before he proceeded to the palace of the Oba of Benin, Oba Ewuare N’gidigan II, on a courtesy visit.

Some of the diginatries at the airport included Chief John Oyegun, the APC National Chairman, Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi, Mr Godwin Obaseki, the state governor-elect, service commanders, lawmakers, and other party leaders.

Men and officers of Police, Army, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), have taken up strategic positions in the areas the President is expected to pass through and the project sites in the capital city.

Heavy security is also noticed in adjoining streets close to the airport, such as Ihama, Boundary and Adesuwa roads while security patrol vehicles, manned by the police and army, were seen patrolling airport road.

The presidential visit created traffic challenges in the City on Monday morning, especially Airport road and Siloko road, a road constructed by the current administration which the President is also expected to inaugurate during the visit.

Part of activities lined up for the visit, is the planned courtesy call by the President to the new Benin monarch, Oba Ewuare II, after which he is expected to inaugurate the new central hospital, Siloko road and 2nd East Circular road among others.

On Tuesday, Buhari is expected to inaugurate some projects, including the new Edo University, Iyamoh, in Edo North and Central Senatorial Districts of the state.

Oshiomhole, who was first inaugurated on Nov. 12, 2008 and won his second term in 2012, is expected to hand over to the governor-elect, Mr Godwin Obaseki, on Saturday.

16 Tips to improve your mac books battery life

Everybody wants a longer-lasting battery. Make your MacBook’s battery last longer with these OS X and macOS Sierra power tricks, which should put a stop to fast-draining laptop annoyances:

Use software update

Apple routinely offers patches and enhancements to Mac OS X and macOS Sierra that improve battery life. Click on Apple > Software Update.

Use energy saver system preferences

Open System Preferences (Apple > System Preferences) and click on Energy Saver. Click on Battery and adjust the slider next to ‘Turn display off after…’ Tick ‘Put hard disks to sleep when possible’, and activate ‘Slightly dim the display while on battery power’ too if you can deal with that.

Dim your screen

Press the F1 key and move the screen brightness down. You can also control this in System Preferences.

Turn off Bluetooth

Click the Bluetooth icon in the Menu bar and choose Turn Bluetooth Off, or open System Preferences > Bluetooth and click Turn Bluetooth Off.

Turn off Wi-Fi

This is a bit more extreme as you won’t be able to use wireless Internet. But if you’re not using the Internet or email, make sure you turn Wi-Fi off. Click AirPort in the Menu bar and choose Turn Wi-Fi off.

Mute sound

Tap the Mute Sound button to get rid of any extraneous alerts and noise. You can turn sound on and off as you need to.

Eject a CD/DVD

If you have one of the older MacBooks with a SuperDrive, then make sure you eject CDs and DVDs that aren’t in use. They will occasionally spin and drain the battery.

Remove peripherals

Disconnect any SD Cards, external drives, or 4G modems. They all draw power from the MacBook. Removing CD/DVDs and peripherals will help your MacBook run for just a little longer.

Avoid graphically intensive apps

Don’t use any games, 3D graphics or video editing apps if you can help it.

Shut down any unused apps

Quit any apps that you aren’t using.

Check which apps are using most power

Mac OS X informs you if any apps are using significant amounts of power in the Battery menu. Click on battery in the menu bar and check under Apps Using Significant Energy. Google Chrome is a prime culprit here; quit hungry apps and use a low-energy app instead.

You can also get more detailed information on energy usage using the Activity Monitor app.

Click Go > Utilities and open the Activity Monitor app.

Now, click on the Energy Tab and Energy Impact header to view the apps and processes taking up the most power on your Mac.

The Energy Impact area of Activity Monitor is a good way to choose apps based on the amount of battery life they take up.

Check for runaway processes

A common way that batteries get drained quickly is if you have a “runaway process.” A process could be an app, or another feature of Mac OS X and macOS Sierra, and sometimes they go awry and cause the processor to work overtime.

You can use Activity Monitor to check that you haven’t got any of these runaway processes.

Open Activity Monitor (Applications/Utilities), select the CPU, select All Processes, select the CPU column, look for any application that is taking up more than 70 per cent of the CPU (and doing so consistently).

If it’s a programme like Safari, Mail or Google Chrome, you should first try to quit the programme normally. If it’s not a regular app, or is not responding, you can select the process in Activity Monitor and press the Quit icon (in the top-left of Activity Monitor).

Invert colours

Use invert colours to save battery life. It takes less battery to display black pixels than white ones.

Change your desktop to a solid white (use System Preferences > Desktop & Screen Saver > Desktop > Solid Colours and choose White). Now click Accessibility and Invert Colours. This runs your Mac in mostly black and white mode.

If you can stand the pain of working in such a stark environment (it’s designed for people with limited vision) then this is a good way to get more from your Mac’s battery.

Turn off notifications

Click on System Preference > Notifications and limit the apps that can check for notifications.

Turn off Mail’s auto check mode

Open Mail > Preferences and change the Check for New Messages tab to Manual.

Turn off Spotlight

Open Spotlight preferences, select the Privacy tab, and drag your Mac’s hard drive to the Privacy list.

PRESIDENT OBAMA GIVES AMAZING SPEECH WHILE ON COMPAIGN TRAIN FOR HILLARY CLINTON

President Obama while on the campaign trail for Hillary, proved he is a true leader as he came to the defence of an elderly Trump supporter who was being harrassed by Hillary supporters. During the rally, the crowd kept interrupting him to scream at the elderly Trump supporter who appeared to be a military veteran but the president was having none of it and told the crowd to show some respect.

'Hey,' Obama said several times, trying to get his audience back. 'Listen up.'

As rally-goers continued to defy him, Obama grew angrier and angrier, eventually demanding that attendees of the Hillary Clinton campaign event sit down and be quiet.

'Hey everybody, hey,' he said, trying again. 'I told you to be focused, and you're not focused right now. Listen to what I'm saying.'

When the crowd refused to listen, he angrily demanded that 'everybody be quite for a sec.'

'Now listen up. I'm serious, listen up. You've got an older gentleman who is supporting his candidate. He's not doing nothing wrong,' Obama proclaimed. 'You don't have to worry about him. This is what I mean about folks not being focused.'

'First of all...hold up, hold up,' Obama said. 'First of all, we live in a country that respects free speech.'

'Second of all, it looks like maybe he might have served in our military, and we've got to respect that. Third of all he was elderly and we've got to respect our elders. And fourth of all, don't boo...'

'I want you to pay attention. Because if we don’t, if we lose focus, we could have problems. This is part of what’s happened here during this election season. We just get stirred up for all kinds of reasons that are unnecessary,' he said to laughter. 'Just relax.'

'We can't afford a Commander-in-Chief who insults POWs, who attacks a Gold Star mother, who actually talks down our troops, says he knows more than our generals,' Obama said.

'I had to sit down with somebody who explained this whole nuclear thing. It will sober you up,' he said. 'It’s serious business.'

'We can't have somebody like that handling our nuclear codes. We can't have somebody who gets upset because “Saturday Night Live” does a skit about him and starts tweeting at three o’clock in the morning. That's not the temperament that you want for somebody who has got the nuclear codes.'

Senator ben murray bruce speaking!!!!

It is our currency we devalued. We did not devalue our citizens. If we devalue Naira then we must also increase salary for those earning minimum wage. What you are telling a worker in a situation where his minimum wage of ₦18,000 can not pay for monthly transport from his house to the office is that he should steal. If we must fight corruption then we must pay living wages to our workers. A situation where the President, Governors, ministers and legislators are earning millions monthly while the masses are earning peanuts monthly is not good for either our national security or our economic growth. Now we want to borrow $29.9 billion and they see us living large while they are barely living. We must not push the people too far!

My name is Ben Murray-Bruce and I just want to make commonsense!
